OxUNA’s Events and Activities
OxUNA is involved with the organisation of multiple student-organised events and activities. The foremost of them is OxIMUN, which is the only university-level Model United Nations conference organised in Oxford. In addition, we organise Speaker’s Panels with distinguished guests from various backgrounds and walks of life. Finally, we sponsor global trips for members of the Travel Team, OxUNA members who are willing to participate in MUNs both in the UK and abroad as delegates and chairs.
Organising OxIMUN
OxIMUN is the only university level MUN organised within the city of Oxford, and the team is recruited by OxUNA, and usually comprises members of the society. To learn more about OxIMUN, please visit their webpage by clicking the button below.
Speakers Panels
Throughout term time, we also organise Speakers Panels where we invite speakers from the UN and beyond to share their experiences with our members. This is a great opportunity to network and gain an understanding of what a career in the UN would look like! Keep an eye on the website for future events.
The Travel Team
One of the most exciting aspects of life at OxUNA is the Travel Team. All members of the society have the option of joining the team, and can then volunteer to join their teammates on trips to different MUNs both domestically and abroad.
